There has been plenty of jersey talk for Notre Dame football this past week, and on Thursday it was more of the same.
Notre Dame released their “Irish Wear Green” uniform set
, including the new patch on the upper left shoulder. Four players from all different positions: quarterback CJ Carr, wide receiver Jaden Greathouse, linebacker Drayk Bowen and defensive end Boubacar Traore helped show off this year’s all green look.Part of why many weren’t extremely happy about the partnership with SoFi was due to the brands colors, but as you can see here it’s been altered, to a green and white logo. I do have one critique with it, as I’d much rather see a green base with white lettering as it makes more sense with these alternate uniforms.
Aside from that,
the cleat combination is fantastic, with a base green and gold piping. The new football logo on the right arm is a nice touch as well, and you can’t quite see what’s on the inside of the players gloves, but it looks like the same one.
This year’s version is a great look, as Notre Dame will take on Stanford on October 10th.
