The Seattle Seahawks dominated their matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, beating them 31-7 but Notre Dame football fans had many reasons to tune into the game.

running backs Jadarian Price and Jeremiyah Love both got to play each other as opponents for the first time in their NFL careers. Love finished the game with 9 carries for 29-yards, and Price had 13 carries for 52-yards and one catch for 8-yards.The two combined were one of the most productive backfields in college football, even if Price had to take a backseat to Love rather than seek more opportunity elsewhere. Afterwards, Price met with media and had some interesting comments after the game. He talked about how the dynamic between the two running backs was a "friendly competition." When asked if he ever considered transferring to a different program for more opportunities, he singularly called out Texas Tech as someone who had made overtures to try to get him to come.
“I was really close (to leaving) when my mom heard about what Texas Tech was offering,” Price said. “I told her, ‘Just wait until the NFL money hits. We’ll be good.’ She trusted me on that, and look what happened.”
The decision wasn't solely financial. Price said staying at Notre Dame reflected his desire to honor the commitment he made to the program, the team, and the coaches.
The move ultimately did not affect his ability to be noticed. While Love was drafted No. 3 overall by the Arizona Cardinals, Price was also drafted in the first round by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 32.
