Former Notre Dame star running back Jeremiyah Love has the makings of an exceptional player in the NFL.
Love showed a glimpse of what he can do in the Arizona Cardinals’ 26-14 Sunday victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, when the rookie recorded his first career NFL touchdown on a 5-yard run in the opening quarter.
The top running back out of the 2026 NFL draft went on to carry the ball 11 times for 41-yards, with the longest run an 18-yard gain in his debut.
The following day, Love’s moment was immortalized through a special Topps card. Love not only signed the card, but he also added the note “1st NFL TD.”
Topps posted on social media that “collectors who purchase the base edition of this card have a chance of receiving the 1-of-1 autograph with
their order,” which is available until Thursday.
Before Love was the third overall pick in this year’s draft, he was a Heisman Trophy finalist, a Doak Walker Award winner and a unanimous All-American for the Fighting Irish.
In three seasons at Notre Dame, Love compiled 433 carries for 2,882 rushing yards and 36 TDs. He also had 63 receptions for 594 yards and six scores.
Love and the Cardinals host the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
