The depth chart for No. 6 Notre Dame at Navy this weekend is out.
Once again, the running back section makes us scratch our heads. Aneyas Williams remains number one, despite being pretty quiet through the first seven games. Nolan James Jr., who has been productive, is at number two, and freshman Jonaz Walton, who has shown big play ability, is listed behind Kedren Young.
Not that it matters much -- the Irish have often listed Williams as number one but used a different back on the first play from scrimmage. We're not reading too much into Young being listed of Walton for that same reason.
Safety Brauntae Johnson appears to remain out with injury.
Notre Dame faces Navy in Foxborough, Mass. on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CDT.
