US LBM Coaches Poll No. 3 Notre Dame, believe it or not, has quietly been putting together a big run in the win column.
After the Fighting Irish started the 2025 season with an 0-2 record, the team has won 14 games in a row since a 56-30 result against Purdue on Sept. 20 that year. Notre Dame’s streak, however, goes deeper than just victories. According to The Irish Tribune, the Irish have the longest active double-digit win streak in the FBS.
The Irish are tied with 2013 Florida State and 2019 Clemson for the seventh-longest streak in college football history. Miami holds the record with 20-straight victories by 10-or-more points between 2000 and 2002, which was part of a broader 34-game win streak.
In its current 14-game streak, Notre Dame has
won its games by an average 30-point scoring margin. The Irish (4-0) are set to face North Carolina on the road Saturday at noon.
