It was quite the Saturday night for Notre Dame football, upsetting the previous No. 1 MiamiHurricanes at home, which propelled upward movement in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Irish enter the week as the No. 6 team, but after a 31-24 win, a rise to No. 3 along with two first-place votes. The was some shakeup inside the top-5, as the order changed with Georgia taking the No. 1 spot, as the Hurricanes dropped to No. 6. Utah is now No. 2, followed by the Irish, UCLA and Indiana rounding out the top-5.
