The Las Vegas Raiders made 10 selections throughout the 2026 NFL draft. We're approximately a quarter-way through the new NFL season. That feels like an appropriate time to revisit the rookie class and hand out grades for their early-season performance.
Note: We're only grading rookies who have played significant snaps. That disqualifies Fernando Mendoza, Keyron Crawford, Trey Zuhn, Jermod McCoy, Dalton Johnson, Malik Benson, and Brandon Cleveland.
DB Treydan Stukes
Rookie defensive back Treydan Stukes missed a game through injury, but has still played a healthy 147 snaps, accounting for roughly 57% of the Raiders' total defensive plays. The former Arizona standout is just one of two Raiders with an interception this season (more on that later). Stukes developed
into an instant starter, and is playing like a legitimate difference maker.
Grade: B+
RB Mike Washington Jr.
Rookie running back Mike Washington Jr. has been the ideal change-of-pace choice behind Ashton Jeanty. The 122nd overall selection has rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown via 24 carries. He has more rushing scores than Jeanty does. Furthermore, Washington's 5.0 yards per carry ranks 8th-best in the entire NFL (minimum qualifiers: 20+ attempts).
Grade: B
CB Hezekiah Masses
Fifth-round cornerback Hezekiah Masses has been a complete revelation. The former Cal standout is tied for the NFL lead in interceptions with three. Masses has played himself into a notable role at boundary cornerback opposite Eric Stokes. He's arguably been the biggest steal of the NFL draft through Week 4.
Grade: A+
