Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers entrenched himself in the NFL’s history books in Week 4, becoming the second-fastest tight end to reach 2,000 career receiving yards. Bowers hit the milestone in his 31st career game, tying Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr. for second-fastest on the all-time list.

Only Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka reached 2,000 receiving yards faster than Bowers and Winslow among all tight ends. Ditka accomplished the feat in 30 games, giving him a one-game edge over the two. The milestone further highlights Bowers’ extraordinary production early in his career and places him alongside two of the position’s
most accomplished pass-catchers.
Bowers was just ten receiving yards away coming into the team's Week 4 game against the Chiefs. Bowers had 86 yards in the game, which means he now sits at 2,076 career receiving yards.
Winslow achieved the feat in the 1981 season, his third in the league. He finished that season with 1,075 receiving yards, his second-career 1,000-yard season up to that point, and concluded his career with 6,741 receiving yards. Ditka reached the mark in 1963. He recorded 794 REC yards that season and later finished his career with 5,812 receiving yards.
