Las Vegas Raiders coach Klint Kubiak enters Week 4 as the betting favorite to win the 2026 AP NFL Coach of the Year award on BetMGM Sportsbook with +500 odds. Ahead of the likes of Kellen Moore (+800), Jesse Minter (+900), and Kevin O'Connell (+900).
Kubiak has led the Raiders to an impressive 3-0 start to the season, and given how the team was not expected to contend for a playoff spot prior to the start of the year, his success in the win column and effective offensive schematics show him to have done the most exemplary job with his team thus far.
The first-time head coach has ran a varied offense in Las Vegas that has enabled Kirk Cousins to get out to a great start to the year, as he leads the NFL in passing touchdowns with nine. Cousins has completed
67.4 percent of his passes for 661 yards on the year and has spread the ball around in the offense. While the running game has room to improve, the Raiders have won, and done so with a full team effort.
Unde Kubiak's guidance, the Raiders have already won as many games (three) as they did all of last season. And recent wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints add to his case to be looked at as the front runner to win the award as things currently stand.
Las Vegas will take on the also 3-0 Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4. A win this week would be the most impressive yet, while leading the team to a 4-0 start to the year.
