It's game week for the Raiders. That's right, for the first time this season, the Raiders will be taking the field for a game. They face off against the Arizona Cardinals this Thursday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to open the preseason.
With the game comes the team's first unofficial depth chart. Let's take a look and then.
Much of the depth chart stacks up as expected. With a few things worth noting.
Caleb Rogers is listed as the backup left guard despite seeing time at right guard recently, sharing time with Jackson Powers-Johnson.
Trey Zuhn III is the backup right tackle. That's where he's been lining up in recent practices after beginning camp as the second team center and third team right guard.
Malik Benson has played well enough to be
the next man up at receiver and that's where he is in the depth chart. Along with veterans Dont'e Thornton and Dareke Young.
Adam Butler is the incumbent starter at defensive tackle, but he has been rotating a lot with Jonah Laulu and Thomas Booker while Tonka Hemingway has been a steady presence with the first team.
Darien Porter is listed as the first team outside cornerback, but there is an open competition happening with Decamerion Richardson and rookies Jermod McCoy and Hezekiah Masses.
Treydan Stukes is listed as the primary backup behind safety Isaiah Pola-Mao. Stukes has also seen some time as the nickel corner spot currently lead by Taron Johnson.
