Things have not gone as planned for Bralen Trice. The former Falcons third round edge rusher saw his first two NFL seasons ended befor they began due to injuries. And last week saw his time in Atlanta come to an end as he was waived.
Wednesday, the Raiders signed the former Washington star to their practice squad to see if he could live up to his potential that earned him a day two pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The 6-4, 274-pound edge rusher put up some big numbers for the Huskies in his final two seasons there. He had 16.0 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss over his sophomore and junior campaigns at Washington.
Players who suffer major injuries as he did can be labeled injury prone and be sent to the waste bin. Those injuries can also take time to come
back from. And not just the rehabilitation for the injury itself, but the conditioning and the psychological effects of it. Gaining his confidence back. It is definitely worth a shot to see if he can recapture his pass rushing prowess.
