It's crazy to think the Raiders don't have a single primetime game this season. And CBS viewership numbers show just why the public disagrees with that decision.
The 3-0 Raiders faced off against the 3-0 Chiefs in an AFC West matchup Sunday. The game was even shown by half the country. And yet it pulled in record numbers.

The numbers from CBS are astounding.
- Record 28.448 million viewers
- Most-watched NFL game of the 2026 season so far
- Best Week 4 game eveer on any network
It was clearly the game of the week. As has been said many times before, the NFL is more fun when the Raiders are good. And right
now, they look good.
The game disappoint either. The two teams switched leads nine times and came right down the the wire, with the Raiders literally eight yards away from a shot at tying it up at the end of regulation.
The Chiefs would escape with the win to improve to 4-0 and the Raiders fell to 3-1.
