The Las Vegas Raiders will travel to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to face the New York Jets in Week 8 of the 2026 NFL season.
Both teams are on losing streaks entering this game. The Jets have lost two straight after defeating the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Meanwhile, the Raiders haven’t won in over a month after winning their first three games.
In addition to the broadcast crew who will develop the game’s narrative, the men in black and white will do their best to keep the game clean and fair.
John Hussey leads the officiating crew for Raiders vs Jets Week 8
Football Zebras reveal that Hussey has 25 years of experience as an NFL game official, including 12 as a referee. The Raiders are 1-8 when Hussey officiates.

Hussey, who also works as a CEO and a nonprofit founder, will be joined by umpire Duane Heydt, side judge Allen Baynes, and back judge Matt Edwards. All three officials have worked with Hussey last season.
Down judge Brett Bergman, line judge Tim Podraza, and field judge Gabe DeLeon complete the officiating crew for the Week 8 Raiders-Jets game.
Switching from line judge to down judge, Bergman is in his fourth year as an NFL game official and worked with referee Craig Wrolstad last season. Meanwhile, Podraza has 19 years of experience and has officiated with Shawn Hochuli. DeLeon is in his first year as an NFL game official after working with the NCAA Big 12 Conference last year.
Finally, Andrew Lambert and Amber Cipriani will serve as replay official and replay assistant, respectively. Lambert was also part of Hussey’s crew last year, while Cipriani officiated with Clete Blakeman last year.
The Week 8 Raiders-Jets game will commence on Sunday, November 1, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.
