How good has Brock Bowers been this season? Well, we know he's and elite tight end. But what if I told you he was not just the best tight end in the league, but the best slot receiver?
By the Average Separation Score metric (ASS), he is exactly that. That's right, the Raiders tight end has a great ASS.
This is legitimately INSANE 🤯

Right now, Brock Bowers is the league's best slot WR by average separation score (ASS)
And he's the league's 2nd-best outside WR by YPRR
Even though he's technically a tight end@FantasyPtsData pic.twitter.com/OdNQdZ2fUM
The metric goes further still. Because not only is he ranked as the best slot receiver, but in terms of Yards Per Route Run (YPRR) Bowers (3.93) is the second best outside receiver as well, behind only Drake
London (4.63).
The third year tight end's numbers here explain how he was able to catch up to the NFL's top tight ends this season in just three games played.
Bowers missed the first two games of the season following a meniscus trim procedure. And as of now, only Sam LaPorta has more yards among tight ends (316). Ridiculous.
