Last Sunday, Packers RB Josh Jacobs scored his first touchdown of the season. Not because he had a slow start to the year. But because it was just his second game back after serving a six-game suspension for a domestic assault conviction this past offseason.
When Jacobs scored his touchdown, he celebrated by putting his hands behind his back as if he was cuffed. Seemingly making a big joke out of the fact that he had been arrested for assaulting a woman.

That display was downright disgusting. But, while he was doing his cute little celly, the news surrounding him was about to wipe that smug smirk off his face.
You see, that domestic assault? Well, it doesn't
sound like it was an isolated incident. Far from it, from the looks of things.
A report by NBC26 Wisconsin reveals according to newly-released records that show several reports from women who say Jacobs had assaulted them as well. Dating back as far as 2021, which was the former first round pick's third season in the NFL as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.
After the news broke last May that Green Bay Packers running back had been arrested for assault, several other women contacted the Hobart-Lawrence police department to report alleged incidents of assault at the hands of Jacobs.
One woman reported an alleged assault by Jacobs from back in April of 2021.
Jacobs grabbed her by the arms and bicep area, pushed her against a wall near a window and threw her belongings outside the home. She said she suffered bruising to her arms and pain and swelling in her rib area.
She called the police, but the officers who arrived said they saw no physical evidence of the assault, so nothing came of it.
And another woman from January of 2022
the woman alleged Jacobs slapped her across the face and later took the her cellphone as she attempted to leave his residence. The woman told investigators that Jacobs grabbed her by the hair, threw her onto a bed, pinned her down and later threw her onto the floor. The woman also alleged Jacobs spit on her and grabbed her by the throat.
And a third woman from May 2022
Jacobs placed his hands on her head and neck, dragged her, scratched her chest, and took possession of her cell phone after it fell to the floor. She said she suffered bruising to her arm and scratches to her chest which she said remained visible for about a month, according to the records.
In this incident, she says Jacobs told her if she reported the incident to police, she would be deported.
These incidents with previous women and Jacobs seemed eerily similar to the assault that ultimately got him arrested back in May of which he was later convicted of misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property after pleading no contest.
And it would appear to show a clear pattern of behavior by Jacobs that was happening at least as far back as his time in Las Vegas, after which he would play for three more seasons for the Raiders, including a year on the franchise tag before moving on to join the Packers.
And what has he learned from it all? That he can dance around and mock the fact that he was arrested for battery on a woman. Hopefully the law and the league is not nearly done with him.
