The Las Vegas Raiders have a rather young roster compared to other teams in the NFL. At this juncture of the season, the Raiders have momentum going for them, with their new-look roster having delivered a win against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1, but their youthfulness is another story following them into next week.
According to the NFL (via Bleacher Report), the Raiders have the ninth-youngest team in the league with an average age of 26.19 years old.
The Raiders’ offense is fueled by young stars, including Ashton Jeanty (22), Brock Bowers (23) Tre Tucker (25) and Jalen Nailor (27). Kirk Cousins (38) and Kolton Miller (30) are veteran presences on the offense, while Adam Butler (32), Taron Johnson (30) and Maxx Crosby (29) are among the elder
statesmen on the defense.
Las Vegas has a good blend of experienced stars and young, promising talents in 2026. All of their players will be expected to execute the coaching staff’s game plan, regardless of age, but having a team on the younger side of things advantages them against the opponents that they will face this year.
At 26.19 years old on average, the Raiders are positioned as a team that will rely on players still approaching or entering their prime to help them string together wins in 2026 and lay a strong foundation for the future.
