There were a lot of plays in the Raiders Week one win over the Dolphins that were dynamic in ways we just haven't seen in Las Vegas. I noted his use of the tight ends and wide receivers as key parts of the run blocking when I named Klint Kubiak a Baller this week. So, it is not real surprise Kubiak's work in his Raiders head coaching debut is getting noticed across the league.
One analyst gave Kubiak the play call of the week for Week 1.

Not surprisingly, this key play also revolves around some sneaky genius blocking technique from Kubiak. What's more is it shows off Kubiak's memory as a play caller
to adjust and go back to run a similar looking play, now knowing how the Dolphins would line up to defend it. And taking advantage of that. Then to have the full back line up like he's going to lead block, but instead going with a cut block to take out both linebackers? Genius.
Kudos to Ashton Jeanty for running the route perfectly and then leaping in the air to snag the high pass without missing stride. Even with the deception, the touchdown was dependent upon Jeanty executing it perfectly and he did to put the Raiders up 24-13 in the third quarter on their way to a 27-13 win to open the season.
