If there's one thing longtime Raiders fans will tell you they can count on year after year is being the most penalized team in the league. And even though that is more of a problem with the Raiders historically, and thus may not still be true, it doesn't make it any less shocking to see how the 2026 Raiders are performing in that area right now.
The Raiders have (gasp) lost the fewest yard to penalties in the league through three games.

Ninety (90) yards. That's it. The Raiders are the only team in the league through three games to have under 100 yards from penalties. That's astounding.
That doesn't mean they are the least penalized. There are four teams with fewer
penalties than the Raiders. But those penalties were more severe in terms of the number of yards they lost as a result.
It isn't really a matter of close calls going their way either. According to new chart, the Raiders are actually on the side of close calls going against them.

What this says is the Raiders are simply playing more disciplined football. Arguably the most disciplined of any team in the league right now. Yet another big reason they sit at 3-0 right now.
