Week one is in the books. All the performances has been tallied up and Ashton Jeanty's performance has him among the top rushers.
The second-year back now sits tied for fifth in the league with 102 yards rushing.
Jeanty was tied with Jets RB Breece Hall to crack the top five. At one point, Jeanty had 105 yards rushing, but the final carry he was stopped for a three-yard loss to bring him back to 102.
Overall, Jeanty had 147 yards from scrimmage (45 yards receiving) which is seventh in the NFL and his two touchdowns are tied for fourth in the league.
It's just one week. How he moves up and down the rankings will be all about consistency. Last season he went over 100 yards twice, but averaged just over 57 yards per game throughout the season. His
work in this game highly suggests that won't be the case this season. That is to say his 102 yards looks closer to the new norm rather than the exception.
