Giants WR Darius Slayton had better numbers last season than all but one of the receivers currently on the Raiders' roster. And he was just released in a move to try and clear some cap room due to offsets in his deal.

There is no question the Raiders have one of the worst wide receiver rooms in the league, making Slayton a no-brainer for them to add to the roster.
Only Raiders top receiver Tre Tucker had more receiving yards last season than the 538 yards Slayton had last season.
And that was a down year for the 29-year-old who average nearly 750 yards per season in each of his full seasons from 2019-23.
Mind you, his numbers have gone down in each of the past two seasons. But he still appears to be more productive than most of the Raiders current receivers.
Jalen Nailor is the next best on the Raiders roster with a career-high 444 yards receiving last season. The next two are second-year receiver Jack Bech and rookie Malik Benson. The fifth receiver is Dareke Young who has a combined total of four catches for 72 yards in his four-year career.
There's no question Slayton would be a valuable addition.
