Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jack Bech carries serious expectations for the upcoming 2026 NFL season. The Raiders have Bech and Malik Benson gunning to be the team’s third option at the wide receiver position next season, with Bech being anticipated to be a valued contributor for the team this year.
Speaking to the media after practice on Tuesday, Bech laid out what he has to do to take the next step in his career with the Raiders next season and enter the starting lineup.
"Being a physical blocker in the run game. Catching balls over the middle. Making contested plays," said Bech.
Bech went for 224 receiving yards in 2025. He has Benson giving him competition in training camp this summer, with the rookie wide receiver impressing in practice,
according to Levi Damien. Slot receiver Jalen Nailor has also played well in camp and is in line to be featured heavily in the offense next season.
With a new coaching system in place, Bech has grown fond of the schematics that Raiders coach Klint Kubiak has been implementing this offseason, which give him the ability to “make changes throughout the plays” of the west coast offense that is being employed in Las Vegas, and will position him to benefit off of the pass-heavy approach that the team will lead with in 2026.
