The Las Vegas Raiders will host the Buffalo Bills in a Week 6 game at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, October 18, at 4:25 p.m. Eastern Time. It will be the Raiders’ third home game in the 2026 NFL season, and they have split the first two games.
Adding to the excitement of this matchup is the broadcast crew tasked with enhancing the narratives in this American Football Conference showdown.
The top CBS Sports NFL broadcasting team of Jim Nantz, J.J. Watt, and Tracy Wolfson will be covering the Raiders-Bills clash.
Nantz is the legendary sportscaster who popularized the “Hello, friends” introduction during his broadcasts. He is a two-time Sports Emmy winner and five-time National Sportscaster of the Year. The 2011 recipient of the Pro Football Hall
of Fame’s Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award has a legacy of sportscasting excellence that spans four decades.
Aside from the NFL, Nantz is also a play-by-play announcer for NCAA basketball tournaments and the lead anchor for The Masters.
Wolfson is a three-time Sports Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Sideline Reporter and has also covered multiple Super Bowls. She initially worked as a researcher for CBS Sports in 1997. Five years later, she transitioned into becoming an on-air talent/sportscaster. In addition to the NFL, she has also covered the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four, SEC college football, and the NBA.
CBS shuffled top NFL broadcast duo
CBS Sports paired Watt -- who initially worked with play-by-play commentator Ian Eagle -- with Nantz following Tony Romo’s departure. It’s still uncertain if the network will retain this tandem for the foreseeable future.
Before becoming a fixture in the broadcasting booth, J.J. Watt was an imposing defensive end who won three NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors.
The five-time First-Team All-Pro and future Hall of Famer led the league in sacks twice. He played most of his career with the Houston Texans, then spent two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals before retiring.
