The Las Vegas Raiders lost to the New England Patriots in Week 5, dropping their record to 3-2. They have suffered two consecutive defeats after winning their first three matches.
Kirk Cousins completed 19 passes out of 28 attempts for 243 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Brock Bowers led all Raiders receivers with eight catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.
One thing the game shined a light on was the Raiders’ continued struggles in the run game, with Ashton Jeanty finishing with a measly 27 yards on ten carries. Dylan Laube scored a touchdown out of nine rushing yards, while Mike Washington Jr. had a single carry for five yards.
With the loss, the Raiders still have a decent 3-2 record with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on tap Week 6.
