With the Rams already extremely depleted by injuries, the news this week that Puka Nacua suffered a calf injury was especially painful. The All Pro receiver would miss practice on Friday and be officially Questionable against the Raiders on Sunday.
The decision would come down to how he felt by game time. And apparently the prognosis is positive, because Nacua was not among those inactive for the game. So, he figures to start the game for the Rams.
This is no doubt a tremendous relief for hte Rams who this week lost leading receiver Davante Adams for at least six weeks to a hamstring injury. Their receiver corps would get pretty sketchy if Nacua was also down with injury.
Nacua leads the team in catches (52). He is QB Matthew Stafford's favorite
target and that's been the case since Nacua first step foot on the field as a rookie in 2023 when he set several records and had the first of two Pro Bowl seasons.
