One last audition tonight for many of the Raiders roster hopefuls. The 49ers are in town for the preseason finale, just days before the roster cutdown to 53 players. And we should get a long look at some of the up-and-coming talent currently on the Raiders roster as they battle it out to earn their spot and perhaps move up the depth chart.
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak has said there are competitions going on at several positions, including quarterback, where Kirk Cousins is expected to start the season, but number one overall pick rookie Fernando Mendoza is working his way into the lineup.
Other news this week is the ankle injury to Ashton Jeanty, which could potentially have his recovery going into the season. So, the backup running back will
look to prove they can carry the torch until his return.
