No running back this preseason was more electric than Mike Washington Jr. The Raiders rookie carried the ball 23 times for 168 yards, with his. 7.3 yards per carry leading all running backs (10+ carries). In light of that, the NFL put out a video showing every one of his rushes.

Things heated up quickly for the fourth round rookie. On his fourth carry of the preseason, he navigated through traffic, broke a tackle and was gone 53 yards to the Arizona 12-yard-line.
He followed up that by breaking off 33 yards on his first carry of the second
preseason game against the Texans. He would have a nifty 14-yard run in the finale against the 49ers.
He came into the draft with a lot of people pretty high on him. The mere fact that he was even still on the board when the Raiders selected him at 122 overall in the fourth round is a small miracle. And he has done nothing but make every team that passed on him regret doing so. He will give the Raiders a viable number two option behind Ashton Jeanty and possible a solid replacement should Jeanty miss any time with his ankle injury.
The Raiders open the season this Sunday September 13 at home against the Miami Dolphins.
