Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is on a tear to begin the 2026 NFL season. After missing the first two games of the year due to injury, Bowers has returned looking like the dominant tight end that he has been known to be through two games played thus far, and his play has stood out among his peers in the league.
Pro Football Focus has given Bowers the highest offensive grade among all tight ends in the league this season with an 83.8 mark as he has quickly reasserted himself as a focal point of Las Vegas’ offense.
Bowers has recorded 16 receptions for 202 yards and two touchdowns on 25 targets across two games played this season. He is averaging 12.6 yards per catch on the year with a 64 percent catch rate. His combination of route-running
and contested-catch ability has helped him return to performing like the standard-setter at the tight end position in the NFL.
The 23-year-old's impact was immediately felt in Week 3, when he caught 10 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown in Las Vegas’ 35-27 win over the New Orleans Saints and earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Bowers followed that up with six receptions for 86 yards and another touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4.
His return has supplied Las Vegas with an elite target over the middle and a mismatch against linebackers and defensive backs. With Bowers back in the lineup, the Raiders’ passing offense has regained its most versatile and productive playmaker, and the NFL one if its premier star performers.
