There have been calls for the Raiders to sit Ashton Jeanty down to allow his injured foot and ankle time to heal. This led to a report that the Raiders had internal discussions about sitting him out this week.

Klint Kubiak was asked about his plans for Jeanty, and without saying definitively whether the report had any validity to it, he made his plans for Jeanty clear.
"He's playing," said Kubiak.
While some might say 'that's not a no', it is an answer as to how far any such discussions might have
gone. Kubiak went a step farther, with regard to Jeanty's workload this week in practice, saying, not only will he not be resting, but his reps will increase.
"I think Ashton is really starting to feel a lot better physically, so I'm excited to give him even more reps in practice, more full speed reps."
So, that settles it then.
For context; Jeanty is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry this season, down from his rookie season (3.7 ypc) which was considered a tremendous disappointment. He has appeared less agile this season and that has been attributed largely to the sprained ankle he suffered in training camp and a foot injury added to that in Week 4 against the Chiefs.
