Week 7 features another tough opponent for the Raiders. Or they were expected to be coming into the season. A vicious string of injuries have the Rams coming to town potentially looking a lot different at this point than originally expected. Which has the staff feeling pretty good about the Raiders' chances.
I gathered up everyone's predictions for the game to see if there is any kind of consensus.
Justin Melo -- Rams 27, Raiders 24
The Los Angeles Rams are banged up, but it's a back-against-the-wall moment for them. Matthew Stafford makes just enough plays for the Rams to escape with a 27-24 victory.
Marvin Uzor -- Raiders 27, Rams 24
The Rams have struggled against the run, and I expect Ashton Jeanty to take advantage. That should take some pressure off Kirk Cousins and give the Raiders enough balance to snap their
three-game losing streak at home.
Lamarr Fields -- Raiders 28, Rams 24
I think Raiders will be able to run the ball better this week and get a few stops to beat the banged-up Rams on late 4th quarter touchdown
Levi Damien -- Raiders 27, Rams 23
I see this as the perfect opportunity for the Raiders to pull out of their losing streak. Two of the three games in the streak were competitive games against tough opponents in the Chiefs and Bills. And both were at home. I had the Rams winning this one in my preseason predictions. But without the likes of Myles Garrett, Davante Adams, and the two injured DTs -- and possibly Puka Nacua and Trent McDuffie as well -- I think the door is open for the Raiders to get the win.
Pick totals: Raiders 3, Rams 1
Average score: Raiders 27, Rams 25
Most of the staff sees this as a game the Raiders can edge out the Rams. With an average score differential of 3.67 points in those picks. If there is a consensus it's that everyone thinks this will be a close one with no prediction picking the game to be decided by more than a four-point margin.
