The Patriots are seriously banged up at the cornerback position heading into Week 5 against the Raiders. Friday, head coach Mike Vrabel announced New England would be without both of their starting cornerbacks as well as a couple backups.
This includes Pro Bowl cornerback Christian Gonzalez and former Super Bowl winning CB Carlton Davis. Along with backups Channing Canada and Karon Prunty.

To say the Patriots depth at the position is going to be tested is a serious understatement.
Gonzalez is considered one of the best cornerbacks in the league. He was out Week four against the Bills and was replaced in the starting lineup by Marcus Jones. The fifth-year
CB is now, by far, the most established cornerback in the lineup for the Patriots.
Davis was having a standout season for the Patriots and was named to the All-PFF second team for the first part of the season. Third-year former undrafted free agent Charles Woods is most likely to get his first career start at the other spot.
We know Brock Bowers will get his. The question is whether the Raiders lackluster wide receiver corps can take advantage of the situation.
