October has begun. Which means the awards for player of the month in each conference have been handed down. For the AFC, the award goes to Kenneth Walker who leads the league in rushing.

Walker has put up 360 yards on the ground over the first three weeks and another 82 through the air. He leads the league not only in rushing yards, but yards after contract. And it's not even close.
And Sunday, the Raiders will be tasked with trying to slow down that train.
The undefeated Chiefs come to Las Vegas on Sunday for a big division matchup. The Raiders are also 3-0 on the season, so something's got to give. Walker has been breaking opponents this season. The Raiders run defense has been middling through three games and it will need to be more than that
on Sunday.
The problem becomes if they sell out to stop Walker, Patrick Mahomes can just burn them through the air. So, obviously it's a delicate dance.
That being said, if there's anyone who is best suited to do it, it's Klint Kubiak. Walker was a big part of his team in Seattle that won the Super Bowl last February. So, he knows him well. We'll see if he can sufficently impart that knowledge on DC Rob Leonard so they can keep Walker from continuing his reign.
