The Las Vegas Raiders suffered a narrow 30-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4. Despite the defeat, the Raiders produced several highlight plays in the game, the best of which being a great touchdown connection from Kirk Cousins to Brock Bowers late in the fourth quarter of action.
Down 30-19 with 1:54 left to play on second down, Cousins evaded pressure from Chiefs rookie edge rusher R Mason Thomas and found Bowers making a beeline for the corner of the end zone, connecting with him on a 20-yard TD catch. Bowers’ touchdown reception brought the Raiders to within five points with the game winding down. Cody White’s ensuing two-point conversion cut Kansas City’s advantage to three points.

The score immediately changed the tenor of the game, giving Las Vegas life in the closing minutes and putting pressure on the Chiefs to protect a shrinking lead.
Bowers finished the game with six receptions for 86 yards and one touchdown on 11 targets. His ability to produce in a high-leverage moment highlighted his non-pareil talent and his importance to the Raiders’ offense as the team’s No. 1 option in the receiving game, even as the team’s comeback effort ultimately fell short.
