The first roster move of Raiders camp comes three days in. They added former Jets TE Zack Kuntz to the roster and in a corresponding move waived/injured RB Chris Collier.
Kuntz was a seventh round pick by the Jets in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Old Dominion. In two seasons in New York, Kuntz appeared in two games with no starts. He saw three snaps on offense and ten on special teams in those appearances.
He spent last season on the Jets but was waived with the final roster cuts. He was a reserve/future signing with the Dolphins last February and was released on May 4. So, you could say May the fourth was not with him.
Collier was entering his third season with the Raiders. He appeared in three games in 2024 and spent last season on the team's practice
squad.
