Sunday the Raiders handled business, getting a win in their season opener against the Miami Dolphins. The offense scored three touchdowns while the defense held Miami to one touchdown. They took the lead on their first possession and never trailed, winning going away 27-13.
Aside from the OL and QB, which played every snap in the game, it was recently extended Michael Mayer who got the most sizable workload. With Brock Bowers out, Mayer was the go-to target for Kirk Cousins as well as performing his usual blocking duties, showing the fourth-year TE to be a valuable part of the offense.
On the defensive side, it was rookie safety Treydan Stukes who got the lion's share. While several members of the defense played every snap as well, he added 12
snaps on special teams (46%), leading all defenders with 68 combined snaps. Stukes handled the workload well too.
