Every day another eye-popping stat comes out with regard to what Brock Bowers has done this season. And every time it must be pointed out that he's put up these numbers in THREE GAMES while those he is matching and surpassing have had FIVE GAMES in which to do it.
The latest ridiculous stat has the Raiders tight end with identical this down catch and conversion rate to that of reigning Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl winning WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Success Rates on Third Down Targets

(min. 10 3rd down targets)
ARSB: 19 targets, 37% SR
JSN / Bowers: 18 targets, 61% SR
Mike Evans: 17 targets, 65% SR pic.twitter.com/rXZcor6avA
Looking at this graph, you see JSN and Brock Bowers occupying the same spot. With both seeing 18 targets with a 61%
success rate. That would be the best in the league when combining most targets and success rate. For instance, Mike Evans has a higher success rate, but on fewer targets. Amon-Ra St Brown has more targets, but a much lower success rate.
Bowers leads all receivers this season with 11 first down catches on third down throws. Mike Evans, Drake London, and Chris Olave are tied for second with 10, while JSN and CeeDee Lamb are tied for fifth with nine.
And, again, Bowers' numbers are compiled with two fewer games than most others in the graph. Which is jus insane, when you think about it.
