Kyndal Stowers delivered one of the best offensive performances in Texas A&M volleyball history Sunday. One day later, the conference recognized her work.
Stowers was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week after helping the No. 14 Aggiessweep Alabama and Mississippi State at Reed Arena
. It is the first SEC weekly honor of her career and the first for an A&M attacker since Logan Lednicky earned the award last season.The senior averaged 6.33 points, 4.83 kills and 1.33 aces per set across the two victories. She saved her best performance for Mississippi State, finishing with 21 kills, a career-high five aces and one block. Stowers accounted for 26.5 points against the Bulldogs, breaking Texas A&M’s record for points in a three-set match. Shelby

Texas A&M’s Kyndal Stowers, a senior outside hitter from Denton, Texas, averaged 6.33 points and 4.83 kills per set over a pair of wins for the Aggies. Stowers recorded career highs of 21 kills and five aces in Sunday’s sweep over Mississippi State and set the program record for points in a three-set match with 26.5. She opened the week with eight kills, seven digs, three aces, two assists and one block against Alabama.

Stowers and the Aggies begin a two-match road trip Wednesday against Oklahoma at 6 p.m. CT, then face Arkansas on Sunday at noon. Both matches will air on the SEC Network.
