No. 8 Texas A&M is 2-0 this year after defeating Missouri State 50-0 and Arizona State 48-20, which could have been a shutout if not for Sun Devils wide receiver Reed Harris's 189 yards and two touchdowns. Over the last two weeks, coach Mike Elko and his staff have hosted a long and talented list of 2027, 2028 and 2029 prospects, which will continue this weekend when the Aggies host Kentucky
on Saturday.This week, 2028 four-star defensive lineman Prince Che, ranked as Rivals' No. 4 DL in the cycle, placed Texas A&M in his top 7 program list, joining LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, and Miami. Che will visit the Aggies this weekend, sources say.
This week, 2027 five-star linebacker Kaden Henderson said he remains "100% committed" to the Aggies,
despite Notre Dame's continued pursuit. However, Henderson confirmed he has no plans to visit Notre Dame this season and will head back to College Station for Saturday's game.
Other confirmed 2027 commits visiting this weekend include four-star quarterback Jayce Johnson, five-star offensive tackle Kennedy Brown, four-star offensive tackle DeMarrion Johnson, five-star wide receiver Eric McFarland, four-star Jaden Upshaw, four-star defensive lineman Elijah Patmon, four-star linebacker Mikahi Allen, Aston Whiteside, and rising four-star Edge Kaden McCarty.
While every 2027 commit listed above has either shut down their recruitment or is close to doing so, this provides the coaching staff another chance to solidify each commitment ahead of Early Signing Day in December.
In the 2028 cycle, five-star quarterback Donald Tabron III will make his way to campus, while AggieYell insider Jaxson Callaway revealed that Mike Elko and Co. will host several other five-star prospects in the class, led by blue-chip safety James Foster and five-star wide receiver Jaylen Addai. Tabron's starting left tackle and five-star Antijuan Wilkes will also join him.
Texas A&M vs. Kentucky will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and will air on ESPN.
