Texas A&M's No. 1-ranked 2027 recruiting class isn't falling apart at the seams like some in the fan base expect amid the Aggies' struggles on the field, even after four-star linebacker Aston Whiteside flipped his commitment to Miami, as multiple insiders expected.
However, among the program's six five-star commits, including linebacker Kaden Henderson, are the prospects to watch over the next four weeks, as Early Signing Day begins on December 2 and potential visits elsewhere, with four regular-season games remaining, could throw a wrench in the Aggies' plans.
After his recent dominant performance, Kaden Henderson told TexAgs insider Jason Howell that he hopes to visit the Aggies during their final two home games against Tennessee and Texas on November
14 and 27, but multiple sources, including Notre Dave insider Mike Singer, say Henderson plans to visit the Fighting Irish this weekend.
Notre Dame will host No. 1 Miami this weekend, which is slated to be one of the best games of the year, so, on its face, I don't blame Kaden Henderson for wanting to attend the matchup, but it's problematic that he's now shifting his focus to Notre Dame, while Texas A&M fails to find answers before facing South Carolina on the road.
Right now, I still expect Kaden Henderson to sign with the Aggies given his strong relationship with coach Mike Elko and linebackers coach Travis Williams, and he has a clear path towards early playing time given the state of A&M's linebacker rotation in 2027. We will continue to monitor the situation.
