Texas A&M's 48-20 win over Arizona State in Week 2 was chaotic, to say the least, as the Aggies scored 24 points in the fourth quarter thanks to a pair of pick-six touchdowns from sophomore Edge Marco Jones
and senior cornerback Julio Humphrey, while starting quarterback Marcel Reed's three touchdown passes were enough to seal what was an uncomfortable 24-20 lead in the third quarter into a 28-point blowout victory.Texas A&M's offense wasn't exactly pitiful given Marcel Reed's timely touchdown throws and growing chemistry with transfer wide receiver Isaiah Horton, who was the recipient of two red zone scores, but just 255 total yards and 92 rushing yards will result in losses once SEC play begins on Saturday against Kentucky.

Elko and defensive coordinator Lyle Hemphill, Texas A&M's defense will continue to improve given the level of talent at every position, especially in the secondary. Needing better first-half starts on both sides of the ball, success starts in the trenches, and after another shaky performance, Texas A&M's offensive line is on notice.
Kentucky's 45-17 home loss to Alabama was defined by poor field position, the O-line surrendering four sacks and six tackles for loss, and, like Texas A&M, a lack of consistent success passing or running the ball. For the Aggies, forcing QB Kenny Michey to make quick decisions and throw inaccurate passes is key to staying undefeated this year.
Per ESPN's Bill Connelly, Texas A&M enters Week 3 as a -15.5 point home favorite and is predicted to win 36-16. If the Aggies improve on offense in the first half and run the ball more efficiently, I have zero doubt that A&M's defense will have much trouble against the Wildcats' subpar offense.
