Texas A&M (3-2, 1-2 SEC) will return to the road Saturday when it faces No. 14 Missouri (4-1, 1-1) at Memorial Stadium in Columbia.
Both teams enter the matchup after picking up their first conference victories. The Aggies responded to consecutive losses by defeating Arkansas 34-7 at Kyle Field. A&M rushed for 231 yards, finished with 401 total yards and held the Razorbacks to 214.
Missouri made an even bigger statement by defeating then-No. 8 Florida 45-17. The Tigers scored 35 unanswered points after the game was tied at 10 and finished with 560 yards of offense. Austin Simmons threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns, while Jamal Roberts rushed for 211 yards and three scores.
A&M defeated Missouri 38-17 in Columbia last season, but oddsmakers
expect a much closer game this time. The Aggies will need to prove their improved offensive performance against Arkansas can travel while finding a way to slow down one of the SEC’s hottest offenses.
Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 10. The game will be televised nationally on ABC.

Texas A&M vs Missouri prediction, pick:
Texas A&M finally looked like the team many expected to see during its win over Arkansas. The Aggies established the running game, Marcel Reed played within the offense and the defense prevented the Razorbacks from creating many explosive plays. Now A&M has to prove that performance was more than a one-week response.
Missouri is coming off a dominant win over Florida and has the playmakers to attack the same weaknesses Kentucky and LSU exposed. Austin Simmons has protected the football, Jamal Roberts gives the Tigers balance and Cayden Lee will challenge an inconsistent Aggies secondary. A&M’s best chance is to lean on its running game, control possession and prevent Reed from feeling like he has to force throws.
I expect the Aggies to remain competitive and have a chance in the fourth quarter. However, Missouri is playing at home and currently looks like the more consistent team on both sides of the ball.
Prediction: Missouri 27, Texas A&M 23
