Texas A&M (4-4, 1-4 SEC) returns from its bye week Saturday when it travels to face No. 23 South Carolina (5-3) at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Aggies enter the matchup on a three-game losing streak against SEC opponents, most recently falling 31-20
to Alabama on Oct. 24. A&M held a 20-17 lead entering the fourth quarter but managed just 15 yards in the final period as the Crimson Tide scored 14 unanswered points.South Carolina enters with momentum after defeating Oklahoma 42-25 on Saturday. The Gamecocks have won three consecutive games, including victories over ranked Florida and Tennessee teams, and entered the latest AP Top 25 at No. 23.
Texas A&M'sbye week provided Mike Elko and his staff additional time to evaluate an offense that has struggled
throughout conference play. The Aggies remain winless on the road, making Saturday's matchup another opportunity to demonstrate improvement away from Kyle Field.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 7. ESPN will televise the game nationally.

Texas A&M vs. South Carolina prediction, pick:
Texas A&M desperately needs a conference victory after losing four of its first five SEC games. The Aggies showed they could compete with Alabama for three quarters, but their inability to sustain drives in the fourth prevented them from completing the upset.
South Carolina presents another difficult road environment. Quarterback LaNorris Sellers gives the Gamecocks a dual-threat option capable of extending plays, while their recent victories over Florida, Tennessee and Oklahoma suggest Shane Beamer's team is finding its rhythm.
A&M's best opportunity comes from establishing the running game with KJ Edwards and Rueben Owens II while limiting turnovers from Marcel Reed. The defense has shown it can compete against talented opponents, but the offense must provide more consistent support.
The Aggies should benefit from an extra week of preparation, and I expect a competitive game. However, South Carolina's recent offensive production and home-field advantage make the Gamecocks difficult to pick against.
Prediction: South Carolina 27, Texas A&M 23
