No. 12 Texas A&M volleyball saw its six-match winning streak end with a five-set loss to Oklahoma on Wednesday night at McCasland Field House.
The Aggies won the first and third sets but could not close out the Sooners, falling 25-17, 20-25, 25-20, 23-25 and 11-15. Texas A&M dropped to 10-6 overall and 3-1 in SEC play, while Oklahoma improved to 9-4 and 2-2.
A&M used a balanced attack to pull away in the opening set before Oklahoma answered in the second. Kyndal Stowers helped the Aggies regain control late in the third, recording three kills and an ace as they moved ahead 2-1.
The Sooners built a five-point advantage in the fourth set and held off a late A&M rally to force a deciding frame. Oklahoma then took an 8-4 lead in the fifth before the Aggies
answered with a 5-1 run to tie the score at nine. The Sooners scored six of the final eight points to complete the comeback.

Stowers recorded her fourth match with at least 20 kills this season, while Morris and Fitch gave A&M two more double-digit attackers. The Aggies also produced seven service aces, tied for their second-highest total of the season.
Aggies reach career milestones
The loss included three individual milestones for Texas A&M.
Stowers recorded her 750th career kill with her third of the match. Rodriguez became the fastest freshman in program history to reach 200 career digs, doing so in only 16 matches. Her 11 digs also gave her 14 double-digit performances this season.
Texas A&M will remain on the road and face Arkansas on Sunday at noon CT. The match will air nationally on SEC Network.
