Texas A&M's offense produced just 255 yards and 92 rushing yards, including Marcel Reed's 163 passing yards and first interception of the year, which is, and will never be, good enough for a team looking to make it back to the CFP after last season's historic run; and if the offensive line does not fix its issues in pass protection and opening up holes in the running game, it could be a long season in College Station.
Texas A&M's next opponent, Kentucky, led Alabama early before the Crimson Tide's defense absolutely smothered the Wildcats in the second half, leaving Kroger Field with a 45-17 road victory. Around the rest of the SEC, the Texas Longhorns' epic comeback 24-23 win over Ohio State after trailing 20-3 will likely vault A&M's rival to No. 2 or the top spot in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.
Which teams will drop? Oregon's stunning loss at Oklahoma State and Oklahoma's 17-10 road defeat to Michigan will certainly shake things up before Week 3.
