Texas A&M will continue its SEC schedule Saturday when it travels to Columbia to face No. 14 Missouri at Faurot Field.
The Aggies are coming off a 34-7 victory over Arkansas, while Missouri enters the matchup 4-1 after suffering its first loss of the season. Saturday will mark the second consecutive year the teams have played in Columbia because of the SEC’s move to a nine-game conference schedule.

What happened in last season’s matchup?
No. 3 Texas A&M entered last season’s game undefeated and left Columbia with a 38-17 victory over No. 19 Missouri. The win improved the Aggies to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in SEC play for the first time since joining the conference.
Marcel Reed completed 20 of 29 passes for 221 yards and two
touchdowns. Rueben Owens II rushed for 102 yards and two scores, including a 57-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, while KC Concepcion caught a 48-yard touchdown pass.
A&M’s defense held Missouri to 284 total yards and only 77 through the air. The Aggies led 21-0 before the Tigers scored their first points and answered both of Missouri’s fourth-quarter scoring drives with touchdowns of their own.
Texas A&M – Missouri football series history
Texas A&M and Missouri first played in 1957, with the Aggies earning a 28-0 victory in Columbia. A&M won the first four meetings, including a 73-0 victory in 1993 that remains the largest margin in series history.
The programs began meeting more frequently as members of the Big 12. Missouri won five of seven matchups from 2002 through 2011, including overtime victories in 2002 and 2011.
Both schools joined the SEC in 2012, and Texas A&M has gone 4-2 against Missouri since then. The Aggies have won the last three meetings by a combined score of 114-41 and hold a 5-3 record in Columbia.
