The 2026 NFL season is here, and Texas A&M will once again have a sizable presence across the league.
Former Aggies range from some of the NFL's most established veterans to a massive rookie class entering its first professional season. Myles Garrett, Mike Evans and Jake Matthews remain among the most accomplished active Texas A&M products, while a new wave arrived this spring when 10 Aggies were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, tying the program's single-draft record.
That draft class helped reshape A&M's NFL footprint entering Week 1. Texas A&M lists 41 former Aggies on NFL rosters as of Sept. 1, including all 10 members of its record-tying 2026 draft class. Second-round pick Chase Bisontis is currently on the reserve/injured list with the Arizona
Cardinals. Several other former Aggies remain with organizations on practice squads or reserve lists.
There was plenty of movement among the veterans as well. Myles Garrett was traded from Cleveland to the Los Angeles Rams, while Mike Evans signed with the San Francisco 49ers after spending his entire NFL career in Tampa Bay. Von Miller also returned to his home state to join the Dallas Cowboys, while Christian Kirk joined Evans in San Francisco and Micheal Clemons landed with the Indianapolis Colts. That means several familiar Aggies will be wearing different uniforms when the season begins.
