The time for talking is finally over, as the Southeastern Conference kicks off the 2026 season this weekend, with games slated for Thursday through Sunday.
Missouri gets the conference started in Week 1, hosting a non-conference contest against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, which opened its season with a 35-15 win over Morehouse. The Tigers will be without Ahmad Hardy, but the offensive unit still has plenty of playmakers to dominate the Golden Lions.
The Oklahoma Sooners moved their season opener against UTEP to Friday, giving them an extra day to prepare for a road trip to the "Big House" next weekend. Meanwhile, 13 teams in the conference are slated to kick off on Saturday, with Ole Miss wrapping things up against No. 20 Louisville at Nissan Stadium
in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday evening.
