No. 15 Texas A&M volleyball closed its road trip with a four-set victory over No. 20 Creighton on Sunday afternoon at a sold-out D.J. Sokol Arena.
The Aggies defeated the Bluejays 25-17, 26-24, 23-25 and 25-15 to improve to 6-5 and earn their second ranked victory of the season.
Texas A&M controlled the opening set before rallying from a 22-18 deficit in the second. After Creighton avoided the sweep by taking the third, the Aggies used a 10-2 run to gain control of the fourth and pulled away behind a seven-point service run from Gabi Rodriguez.
A&M hit .500 in the final set and held Creighton to .122 for the match. The Aggiesfinished with a 58-42 advantage in kills and also led in hitting percentage, digs and service aces.

Stowers delivered another
complete performance by leading the Aggies offensively while also contributing from the service line and back row. Castle provided an efficient secondary option, and Musgrove recorded 13 assists during A&M’s dominant fourth set. The victory capped a successful road trip and gave Texas A&M momentum heading into SEC play.
The Aggies return to Reed Arena to face Rice on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before hosting South Carolina in their conference opener Sunday.
