No. 19 Texas A&M returns to Reed Arena on Friday night for a top-20 matchup against No. 7 Florida.
The Aggies enter the match 10-7 overall and 3-2 in SEC play after dropping consecutive road matches against Oklahoma and Arkansas. Kyndal Stowers recorded 20 kills in both losses, while Gabi Rodriguez finished with a career-high 21 digs against the Razorbacks.
Florida is 13-2 overall and tied for second in the SEC with a 4-1 conference record. The Gators had an 11-match winning streak snapped by Vanderbilt on Sunday, but they remain one of the conference’s strongest defensive teams. Florida leads the SEC in opponent hitting percentage and blocks per set.
A&M is 8-1 at Reed Arena this season and swept Florida during the programs’ most recent meeting.
Friday gives the Aggies an opportunity to end their two-match slide and earn their third ranked victory of the season.
