The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Miami Dolphins 35-13 on Sunday at Levi's Stadium to improve to 2-0 on the season and to remain tied atop the NFC West with the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
During that contest, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was phenomenal, completing 20-of-22 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a team-high 30 yards and found the end zone with his legs as well.
For the performance, Purdy earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. This is his third-time receiving this recognition.
His first came in Week 11 of the 2023 season when he threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns in 27-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His second came in Week 16 last year when he threw for 295 yards and five
touchdowns in a 48-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
