The San Francisco 49ers have already lost some players to serious injuries early in training camp, including wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who may not play at all in 2026, as he deals with swelling related to the PCL injury he suffered last year.
In response to that news, the 49ers signed old friend Deebo Samuel on a low-risk, one-year deal after they traded him to the Washington Commanders
last offseason. Now, as training camp rolls on, let's take a look at the wide receiver room that Brock Purdy, Mac Jones, Kurtis Rourke and Adrian Martinez will be throwing to.
- Mike Evans
- De'Zhaun Stribling
- Deebo Samuel
- Christian Kirk
- Jordan Watkins
- Jacob Cowing
- Demarcus Robinson
- Junior Bergen
- Malik Turner
- Colton Dowell
- Will Pauling
- Wesley Grimes
Obviously, Pearsall is still on the roster for now, but he could end up landing on injured reserve in a corresponding move to make room on the 90-man roster for Samuel. Brandon Aiyuk is also
technically still employed by the 49ers, but he remains on the reserve/left-squad list.
